GHK-Cu – Dosage and Reconstitution Guide

GHK-Cu (glycyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine:copper complex) is a naturally occurring copper peptide with important roles in wound healing, tissue repair, and skin regeneration. Research shows activity in gene regulation regarding collagen synthesis, antioxidative protection, and anti-inflammatory processes.

• Reconstitution: Add 3.0 mL of sterile or bacteriostatic water → 16.67 mg/mL.
• Typical range: 1.0–2.0 mg per injection.
• Measurement: 1 unit = 0.01 mL ≈ 167 mcg (U-100 insulin syringe).
• Storage: Freeze-dried −20 °C; after mixing 2–8 °C (max. 30 days).

Standard / Conservative approach (5 days a week)

Frequency: Inject subcutaneously once daily, 5 days a week. This build-up helps assess tolerance and keeps injection volumes practical. For ≤10 units, smaller insulin syringes can improve accuracy.

Alternative protocol (3× per week)

Frequency: Inject 2 mg three times per week (e.g., Monday/Wednesday/Friday). This ensures a consistent weekly dosage with fewer injection times.

Reconstitution steps

1. Draw up 3.0 mL of sterile or bacteriostatic water.
2. Inject along the wall; avoid foaming.
3. Gently twist or roll until dissolved (do not shake).
